2022 Annual Report

We are proud to present our 2022 Annual Report!

We started this year on a high with Battery Fever, a public forum to continue the conversation about the latest in batttery tech, installations and uses; and gain input about our future actions and appetite for community batteries. In addition to hearing from our wonderful speakers, over 100 participants contributed to our research project, that explored how we can ensure people's hopes and visions are embedded in community and neighbourhood scale battery installations. This project with the Australian National University, along with our learnings from Battery Fever, provides an important resource that informs our projects, activities and collaborations.

We've supported various funding applications for projects as diverse as EV charger and battery installations, resourcing of the community energy network and solar PV system installations; continued to collect benchmark data on our renewable energy status; and supported community committee's to apply for funds to install solar panels and/or batteries on their buildings. Our participation in Mondo's EDGE project and Indigo Power's Indigo Power Aggregated Community-scale Battery project has provided valueable insight into the broader energy market and ensures our community has a voice in these important activities.
